When a conductor cuts magnetic flux, an emf is induced in the conductor. This is known as Faraday's law.


There are two Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction.

1. Changing flux produces emf in a conductor

2. Magnitude of induced e.m.f. is directly proportional to rate of change of flux linkage.
