Inverter is a device  with a circuit board that takes 12v,24v,36v,48v DC from (Batterys) and inverts the "voltage,current" wich is power  until 230v A/C through use of a rectifier  giving you an alternative power source

Inverter is a device which converts DC into AC. For example, inverter are used in ups systems where the DC power stored in the battery is converted to AC when required.
