Speed of the motor increases rapidly

When the load supplied by the motor decreases abruptly but the voltage is kept constant this may cause overheating of the stator winding leading to failure of the stator.

Enough rate of current flow instead heavy current flow in the conductor causes stator failure due to heat(temperature) increase.

Stator faliur due to moistur. Due to priodically heatup of winding.
